Titanium Grade 5 Coils are highly resistant to corrosion and commonly used in compressor blades, discs, rings for jet engines, aircraft components, pressure vessels, and rocket engine cases. We also export Titanium Grade 5 Perforated Coils, made from a mixture of titanium and other elements, which are 60% heavier than aluminum but twice as strong.
Our Titanium Grade 5 Plates are effective reflectors of infrared radiation, making them ideal for solar observatories and also useful as a pigment in house paint, artists’ paint, plastics, enamels, and paper. Commercially Pure (CP) Grade 5 Titanium is a ductile metal in its annealed state. Our Titanium Grade 5 Slatting Coils offer excellent resistance to fatigue and crack propagation.
Grade 5 Titanium Sheets are castable and used “as cast” in sporting goods. They also have excellent tensile properties at ambient temperatures and provide valuable creep resistance up to 570°F.
