Stainless Steel 310 Sheets are austenitic steel, specifically developed for high-temperature, corrosion-resistant applications.

Grade 310 (UNS S31000) and its subgrades offer excellent high-temperature performance along with good ductility and weldability.

Grade 310H (UNS S31009) has a restricted carbon content, making it ideal for high-temperature applications.

Grade 310S (UNS S31008), with lower carbon content, is better suited for environments involving moist corrodents at lower temperature ranges, though it has reduced high-temperature strength compared to 310H.

“Dual Certification”

310H and 310S are often available in “Dual Certified” forms, especially in plates and pipes, meeting both 310H and 310S specifications. However, products with a carbon content below 0.04% may not be suitable for certain high-temperature applications.
