Stainless Steel UNS S31600 Plates, though less formable than austenitic stainless steels, are chosen for their resistance to stress corrosion cracking. The 316L Stainless Steel Hot Rolled Sheets are magnetic and cannot be hardened through thermotherapy. The 316 SS Perforated Plates are widely approved internationally for use in pressure vessels. Structurally, the 316TI SS Chequered Plate is fully austenitic and less prone to precipitation ferrite or sigma levels due to its higher molybdenum content. AISI 316 Plates offer exceptional resistance to corrosion, especially in sulphuric and phosphoric environments, thanks to their high chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and copper content. With enhanced strength and resistance to heat and corrosion, 316 stainless steel plates are suited for more corrosive conditions than 304 sheets, providing excellent welding characteristics for diverse applications.
